JCP-301 Sidepost Umbrella Frame & Functionality

This stunning single cantilever outdoor umbrella has a high-tech design and sophisticated look. Its modern offset aluminum frame is protected from corrosion by an electrostatic powder-coated finish in charcoal, matte white, anodized silver and faux teak. It features an innovative infinite tilt mechanism that tips the canopy up and down, left and right. It's convenient crank lift system opens and closes the canopy.

Canopy Design & Construction

The low profile canopy is available in 11.5-foot octagon and 10-foot square versions and covered with UV-resistant Sunbrella® solution-dyed acrylic fabric. The high-performance textile is all-weather, long-lasting, fade-resistant and comes in a wide variety of vivid colors and chic neutral tones.

Base & Mounting Options

The JCP-301 Sidepost Umbrella comes with the frame, canopy and a protective cover but an octagonal mobile base or mount must be selected separately and is not included in the price. The galvanized steel JCB-301 portable base weighs 350 lbs with weather-resistant locking wheels that allow you to rotate the umbrella 360° and position it anywhere on your deck, poolside or patio.

Or, you can opt for a JCB-MKC21 concrete surface mount or JBMKG-16 in-ground mount. These fixed mounting kits optimize stability, minimize the umbrella's footprint and create a permanent installation.

Safety

This umbrella is designed with safety in mind. Its self-locking mechanism not only secures the canopy in place but also prevents accidental closure - great when children or pets are around. Its wind vent permits airflow, reducing the risk of the umbrella being lifted or damaged in gusty conditions. A UV-resistant and water-repellent protective cover made of Sunbrella® fabric in Surlast Black is included for safeguarding the umbrella when not in use.

Lead Times

The lead time varies by frame finish and time of year. Stocked anodized silver and charcoal finished frames typically ship in 4-6 weeks, while special order finishes like matte white and teak may take 12-14 weeks. Timeframes may be longer during the busy months in late Spring and early Summer since Jardinico custom makes each canopy.

Shipping

This large patio umbrella ships on a pallet via a Less-than-Truckload (LTL) freight delivery service like FedEx or UPS. Decor Outdoor offers free Curbside delivery freight service. The driver will unload your boxed items on your curb or driveway. White Glove or Final Mile services may be available to move items to the final location, open boxes and remove packaging material. These premium delivery services should be arranged before placing an order and cost extra.

Receiving Freight Deliveries

You must be present for the delivery and it's important to confirm item count and inspect each package for damage before signing receipt. Note any tears, dents or other damage in writing and photos. Ideally, check inside boxes to ensure products are not damaged, while the driver is present to avoid claim issues.

Assembly & Installation

Umbrellas arrive unassembled and we recommend a 2-person team to safely put them together and set up. Clear installation instructions make set-up quick and efficient, enabling you to enjoy the benefits of shade and style without the hassle of complicated assembly. You may need to hire a contractor to ensure your patio can accommodate a surface mount or pour concrete for an in-ground mount.

Returns

Jardinico covers defects or delivery damages at no cost to customers. Damage claims must be submitted within 5 days of delivery. While they do accept change of mind and subjective returns, there are costs for customers. Any returned item not under the warranty policy is subject to a restocking fee (and must be properly packaged in the original packaging) plus inbound and outbound shipping fees. Freight delivery is very expensive so the two-way charges can be costly.
