Galtech

High-quality and innovative shade products
Since 1984, Galtech has produced patio umbrellas for residential and commercial outdoor spaces that are durable and aesthetically appealing. Their reliable shade solutions are delivered quickly and are the result of superior craftsmanship and efficient logistics. They offer UV protection wherever you need it - between lounge chairs on your deck, sunloungers poolside or next to outdoor sofas and dining sets.
Market umbrellas made with the finest materials
The company's aluminum umbrella poles and ribs are powder-coated to resist corrosion and strengthen the metal against exposure to the elements. Their patented tilt mechanism utilizes stainless steel cables to ensure consistent and sustained performance. Even their wooden umbrellas are finished with 6 layers of marine-grade varnish to ensure durability and enhance the look of the wood.
Their collection of affordable centerpost shades includes tilting and non-tilting models, as well as push-up, pulley and crank lift systems for opening and closing canopies. Their commercial-grade shades integrate extra durable design and materials to ensure they can stand up to the demands of high-use outdoor settings at restaurants, cafes and hotels.
High-performance outdoor fabrics
Galtech offers an extensive selection of quick ship fabrics for its line of center pole and cantilever umbrellas. They primarily use Sunbrella®, who is renown as the leader in outdoor fabrics. This solution-dyed acrylic textile is colorfast, UV and water-resistant, and has a high tensile strength. Sunbrella's 5-year warranty is among the longest in the industry. Decor Outdoor offers thirty Sunbrella Grade-B fabrics for Galtech umbrellas, although additional colors, patterns and grades are available upon request.
Attractive umbrella stands and bases
Galtech also produces chic freestanding bases for its sun umbrellas in a number of designs, styles and weights. Their round cast iron parasol bases have a decorative organic embossed design and Euro appeal. They come in black and antique bronze finishes in two weights. For a sleeker, more contemporary look, they also have square steel plate bases in black or silver. These metal umbrella stands have a low profile and range in weight from 60 to 170 pounds. A couple versions are available with integrated wheels for portability. The bases can be used below an umbrella table or with a standalone shade.
