The Maya Fire Bowl - GFRC Woodgrain by The Outdoor Plus pairs a square rim and sloping sides with a woodgrain-textured surface. Its straight edges can follow the lines of rectangular furniture and paving, while the grain provides contrast against plain stone or metal.
Woodgrain Texture, Concrete Construction
The bowl is made from glass fiber reinforced concrete (GFRC), not timber. Choose this finish when you want the look of wood grain without changing the Maya's angular shape.
Choose from Ebony, Ivory and Oak. Consider whether you want the bowl to stand out against the paving or coordinate with nearby furniture. If you're pairing it with real timber, look for a complementary tone rather than an exact grain match.
Sizes & Specifications
Both sizes are 10.5 inches tall and rated at 65,000 BTU/hr. The 30-inch model adds 6 inches in both width and depth compared with the 24-inch bowl, without adding height or increasing the listed BTU rating. Compare the full square footprint with your planned layout, not just the narrower base.
| Bowl Width | Height | Base Width | Burner Size | BTU/hr | Suggested Fire Glass |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 24" | 10.5" | 8" | 8" | 65,000 | 20 lbs |
| 30" | 10.5" | 12" | 12" | 65,000 | 20 lbs |
Lava rock is included. Prefer fire glass? It's sold separately, with 20 lbs suggested for either size.
Ignition & Fuel Options
Choose Match Lit for manual lighting or Low Voltage Electronic Ignition for electrically powered lighting. Select the ignition system before installation so your installer can plan any required electrical supply along with the gas connection.
Select Natural Gas or Liquid Propane to match your gas supply. The bowl comes with the corresponding gas orifice.
Optional Key-Valve Installation
Choose optional factory installation to have the key valve mounted directly on the bowl for manual gas-flow control and flame-height adjustment. If you'd prefer a separate control location, your installer can help plan the arrangement.

Before You Install
This fire bowl is for outdoor use only. Before ordering, have a qualified installer review your planned placement, supporting surface, gas supply and access to controls.
Installation must follow the manufacturer's instructions for your selected configuration, including required clearances and applicable local requirements. The bowl's dimensions alone do not determine the space needed for installation.
Use only a breathable cover. Plastic or other non-breathable covers may stick to the fire feature.
