Its side-mounted frame keeps the support pole outside the furniture group. Adjust the shade as the sun moves, then fold the canopy and arm back toward the mast for a more compact silhouette when the umbrella isn't in use.

Choose an 11'6" octagon, a 9'10" square or a 9'10" x 13'1" rectangle. The octagon complements conversational seating, while the square follows linear lounge arrangements. The rectangle suits longer dining tables and seating groups. Check the canopy's rotation and recline against adjacent umbrellas, walls and circulation routes.

A hand crank opens and closes the canopy, while a foot pedal releases the frame for rotation. Recline changes the canopy angle as the sun lowers. Position the mast and controls where staff or homeowners can make these adjustments without moving occupied chairs or reaching across a table.

The folded profile matters where the umbrella remains visible from a hotel lounge, restaurant interior or the home's main living space. Retracting the arm and canopy toward the mast reduces the structure projecting over the furniture when shade isn't needed. For designers, the closed umbrella becomes part of the composition rather than an afterthought. Allow room for the folding movement as well as the stored position.

The Symphony solution-dyed acrylic canopy comes in a choice of colors to coordinate with upholstery and exterior finishes. Pavone's smart attachment system allows the fabric to be removed for cleaning or replacement, so canopy care can be handled separately from the frame. A zippered protective cover is included.

Freestanding bases avoid a permanent attachment to the deck or paving, but their size and weight favor a planned position rather than frequent moves. The rectangular canopy requires the large double-stack metal base for a freestanding installation.

Deck, concrete and underground mounts provide fixed support without a freestanding base occupying floor space. Confirm the mast location and mounting requirements before the deck or paving work is finalized.

Base and mounting options are sold separately. Confirm compatibility with the selected canopy configuration. Concrete pavers for the Paver Base are not included and must be purchased locally. The Paver Base is not suggested for the rectangular canopy.

Woodline classifies Pavone for light-breeze applications. Consider site exposure when selecting its position. Close and secure the umbrella when winds increase or whenever it's unattended.
