This sturdy domed spark guard is handcrafted in the U.S.A. using heavy stainless steel mesh and wide 304 chromium stainless steel bands. The metal is coated with high-temperature black paint and fitted with four handles. Depending on the fire pit model, handles may be attached horizontally around the lower frame ring or vertically midway up the guard on the crossing bands. It comes in five sizes to accommodate a variety of fire pit models. When in place, the guard prevents embers from jumping out of the fire pit onto flammable materials, furniture or people.
