The Woodline Storm Center Pole Umbrella combines a 304 stainless steel pole, hub and runner with aluminum ribs for restaurant terraces, hotel pool decks and residential patios. Woodline's strong-breeze classification distinguishes it from the moderate-breeze models in the collection. Consider Storm for open dining and lounge areas where wind exposure is a priority in umbrella selection.
Choose an 11'6" octagonal canopy or a 9'10" square. The octagon complements round tables and separate seating groups, while the square follows linear dining arrangements. Both configurations have a nominal 2.5" diameter pole. For through-table installations, check compatibility early, since the wider pole may not fit the furniture's umbrella hole.

A built-in quattro pulley system raises and lowers the canopy, with a rope-locking mechanism securing the operating line. Leave access to the controls when positioning Storm beside deep seating or through a dining table, so staff and guests don't have to reach across furniture to close it.
Stainless steel connectors and reinforced eyelet attachments secure the canopy to the frame. The Symphony solution-dyed acrylic fabric comes in a choice of colors to coordinate with upholstery and exterior finishes. A zippered protective cover is included for use when the umbrella is closed.
Woodline suggests a paver base or a 286 lb double-stack metal plate base for either canopy. Plan the umbrella position around service routes and furniture access before installation; this isn't a setup intended for frequent rearrangement. Fixed mounts provide an alternative where a freestanding base would occupy useful floor space.

Deck, concrete and underground mounting options are available. Select the complete Storm assembly, including its specified stainless steel rope-lock stand. Check closing clearance against nearby tables and seating before finalizing the position.
Base and mounting options are sold separately. Suggested bases follow Woodline's configuration-specific guidance. The metal base's listed weight is not a published minimum ballast requirement. Concrete pavers for the Paver Base are not included and must be purchased locally.
Storm's strong-breeze classification doesn't remove the need to assess site exposure and select appropriate support. Close and secure the umbrella when winds increase or whenever it's unattended.

Customers must sign for the delivery and retain all packing materials, boxes, tubes, wrapping, etc until the merchandise is checked and no damages are evident. If the customer is unable to open the boxes and inspect at the time of delivery, please make sure that they do not sign their name on the Bill of Lading but write “PENDING INSPECTION” instead.
