Choose Atlas for a restaurant terrace with separate dining tables or a pool deck organized into smaller seating groups. Its canopy options let you plan shade around individual zones. Astral is the larger-scale alternative for expansive dining and lounge arrangements where broader coverage from one umbrella is the priority.
The telescoping mast raises the canopy assembly as it closes, helping the ribs clear dining tables and surrounding chairs. For hospitality teams, this can simplify daily closing routines by reducing the need to rearrange furniture. Clearance varies by configuration, so check the closed rib-end height against the specified tables and seating. Allow room overhead as well, since the mast extends above its open height during closing.
A removable crank handle opens and closes the canopy. Commercial-grade fasteners secure the fabric to the frame, and a protective cover is included for use when the umbrella is closed.
Coordinate the canopy with upholstery, exterior finishes and project palettes. Awning-grade options include solution-dyed acrylic from Sunbrella® and Treasure Garden Performance. Furniture-grade solution-dyed acrylic is available from Sunbrella®, Outdura® and Tempotest® in a broad selection of colors and patterns.
Infinity is the recommended freestanding base for all four Atlas configurations, with Titan and stacked steel Z-Plate bases as alternatives. Select a base that meets the weight requirement for your canopy. Concrete and in-ground mount kits offer permanent support where the umbrella position is fixed.

Atlas's published wind guidance applies to mount-kit installations with the canopy open and horizontal, not freestanding bases. Use freestanding installations only in light winds. Close and secure the canopy when winds increase or whenever the umbrella is unattended. Follow the user manual's storage instructions for severe weather. Wind guidance is not a guarantee, and wind damage is not covered under warranty.
