Shademaker’s new Designer Collection takes customization to the next level. Created for elevated residential and hospitality designs, it lets you personalize every detail of your umbrella for visual harmony and distinction. The valance selection defines the canopy’s outline—offering everything from crisp modern edges to romantic, flowing curves that capture a curated sense of style.
Add contrasting or complementary binding to just the bottom or both the top vent and bottom of your canopy. It's included when you choose a scalloped or wave style valance and can be added to the standard design as well.

How to order
- Umbrella Style Group - First off, you'll need to determine which style group your umbrella belongs in - A, B or C (see table below).
- Valance Design - Next, select a valance design that you like from the descriptions and images shown below.
- Binding - Then choose a binding format. If you picked the Standard Valance earlier, make sure your binding selection matches your umbrella group letter or is "None" (e.g. Libra umbrella is in group A, so you must choose one of the two A options). If you picked Scallops or a Wave Valance, just select one of their two binding options (both free with these valance designs).
- Binding Fabric - If you chose binding, pick a color that goes with or contrasts the canopy fabric of your umbrella (8 stocked colors). If not, click the X (i.e. "None")
- Fringe Fabric - If you selected Fringe, you'll need to choose the color here (2 stocked colors). If not, click the X (i.e. "None")
If you're customizing a Gemini Dual Sidepost Umbrella, you'll need to order 2 of your customizations (one for each canopy).
