The 10-foot square low-profile canopies are situated on opposing sides of the mast, allowing you to shade a wide area. Each canopy is made from solution-dyed synthetic textiles from premium brands like Outdura®, Sunbrella®, and O'bravia®. These high-performance acrylic and polyester fabrics are fade-resistant, water and UV-resistant, have high tensile strength and help to minimize mildew and mold build-up. Gemini utilizes a gas piston-assisted lift mechanism, rather than tradition crank and cord system, to open and close the canopies. This technology makes it extremely easy and quick for anyone to operate the umbrella. The offset umbrella does not tilt but rotates 360° and has 8 locking positions that enable you track the sun throughout the day. Each canopy is controlled independently of the other, so you can use either one or both at any time. When the cantilever umbrella is not in use, just collapse the canopies into the central mast and slide on the included protective cover.
