Its sculptural canopy makes the umbrella part of the setting's character, while slide-knob operation provides a straightforward way to open and close it. The 10' octagonal canopy provides approximately 75 square feet of coverage for an individual dining table or a smaller seating group. Account for the centerpost and base when arranging furniture and circulation paths. At 9'6 tall when open, Pisces Pagoda also has a noticeable vertical presence—consider its profile against nearby planting, buildings and other shade structures.

Choose Pisces Pagoda over a similarly sized umbrella when the canopy's silhouette matters as much as its shade. A single umbrella can define a garden dining spot, while several can give a boutique hotel courtyard or restaurant terrace a recognizable visual identity. Its appeal is the peaked profile rather than additional coverage: Shademaker's 10' octagonal Omega and Atlas models also provide a published 75 square feet of coverage.

Pisces Pagoda and Omega share slide-knob operation but create different looks overhead. Choose Pisces Pagoda for a pronounced peak that gives a garden patio or courtyard a distinctive profile. Omega is the alternative when you prefer a layered three-tier canopy with Shademaker's stated wind-stability benefit.

A patented slide-knob mechanism opens and closes the canopy without a crank. The three-tiered hub system provides telescoping functionality, raising the mast as the umbrella closes. Closed height reaches approximately 10'10, so check clearance beneath eaves, pergolas and other overhead structures before positioning the umbrella.

A neutral fabric draws attention to the canopy's shape, while a richer color stands out against greenery or exterior walls. Polished Platinum can coordinate with metallic furniture details, while Artisan Teak complements warmer wood tones. Awning-grade options include solution-dyed acrylic from Sunbrella® and Treasure Garden Performance. The 150-pound Aurora is the recommended freestanding base for Pisces Pagoda. Alternatives include a 225-pound steel Z-Plate with the appropriate external stem or an Infinity base. Concrete, in-ground and wood mount kits offer fixed installation options. Z-Plate and mount-kit installations require the Pisces Pagoda-compatible external stem, which is sold separately.

A protective cover is included for use when the umbrella is closed. Follow Shademaker's operating and wind guidance for your installation, and close and secure the canopy when winds increase or whenever the umbrella is unattended. Follow the user manual's storage instructions for severe weather. Wind damage is not covered under warranty.
