Polaris Sidepost Umbrella from Shademaker

This large cantilever umbrella has a sleek aerodynamic design and sophisticated look. Its towering mast is made from commercial-grade aluminum in four neutral powder-coated finishes. The sidepost is reinforced by a galvanized steel inner stem and incorporates stainless steel crank lift and tilt functionality that enables you to easily adjust the position of your shade.

Its broad canopy comes in three sizes and shapes that provide 131-172 ft² of coverage. The Polaris offset umbrella features a simple to operate infinite vertical (front to back) tilt system, along with eight 45° locking positions and 360° rotation. The deep single-vented canopy is covered by high performance all-weather fabrics from premium brands like Sunbrella®, Outdura® and O'Bravia®. Their solution-dyed acrylic and polyester fabrics are colorfast, UV-resistant, durable and are available in both Furniture and Awning-Grade weights. Choose from a wide variety of bright bold colors or neutral tones that coordinate with today's modern palettes. When the umbrella is not in use, simply fold it inward and wrap it in its high-performance protective cover.

Polaris requires substantial support to keep it upright and stable in windy conditions. Shademaker recommends using one of their concrete or in-ground permanent mount kits. Alternatively, there are freestanding base frames into which you can load stone pavers or weights. They're not included with the base frame, but you should be able to find good options at your local home improvement center. The smallest Polaris umbrella requires a minimum of 450 pounds, so we're talking about multiple pavers. There are also fixed weight bases and stackable steel base weight plates.

Polaris is an elegant and extremely adaptable sidepost umbrella, which makes it a great choice for shading large commercial and residential spaces. Put a square umbrella next to the pool to protect friends and family as they recline in a comfortable sun lounger.
