Folding teak sling chairs and table with design heritage
Skargaarden’s Kryss collection is a portable teak sling series originally created by Björn Hultén for the Swedish Embassy terrace in Cairo in the 1970s. The folding chairs and small round table nod to classic campaign and safari furniture, but with a calmer Scandinavian expression. Wood frames and fabric slings keep the pieces light, comfortable and easy to move from terrace to lawn or dock.
Compact lounge and dining set that folds away
The Kryss range includes a folding lounge chair, a folding dining chair and a compact round folding table, all built from solid teak. Each chair uses a fabric sling seat and back that creates a relaxed, cradling sit without bulky cushions, and folds quickly when you want to store or relocate it. The table follows the same X-frame idea and packs flat, so the whole setting can be brought out for the season or carried between spaces as needed.
